How To Make A Paper Cat
Step 1: Use a square piece of black origami paper. If you only have rectangular paper, trim it into a square.
Step 2: Fold the paper diagonally from the top corner to the bottom corner, creating a triangle.
Step 3: With the flat base of the triangle at the top, fold the right corner up toward the top corner, forming the right ear.
Step 4: Repeat with the left corner, folding it up toward the top corner to create the left ear.
Step 5: Fold the bottom corner (the chin area) slightly upward to round out the face.
Step 6: Fold it out.
Step 7: Fold the right corner into the lines and repeat with the other side..
Step 8: Fold it from the mid right corner towards the other end.
Step 9: Repeat for the other side and then open it up again.
Step 10: Using the kite shaped paper, fold the into the paper to form a triangle.
Step 11: Flip it upside down.
Step 12: From the triangle, fold up towards the paper and then open it up again.
Step 13: Flip it to the other side and fold the sides into the kite again.
Step 14: Slightly bend the corners of the rectangle and pull it towards the center to create this shape and then push it down to make the foundation of the cat's face.
Step 15: Fold the inner right corner of the small triangle into the larger triangle.
Step 16: Repeat on the left side and then open it up.
Step 17: Tuck the ears of the triangle into the inner smaller triangle.
Step 18: Fold the right side of the triangle to the left side.
Step 19: Fold half of the smaller triangle up and push into the square to make a ear.
Step 20: Repeat the steps for the left side.
Step 21: Take the flat body and bend the middle of it.
Step 22: Grab its tail and pull it down to the top of the upside down triangle as its body. Open it up again afterwards.
Step 23: Open its body from behind and push the tail in.
Step 24: Open the inner neck of the cat and push down its head to finish it off.
Step 25: Final result.
